I was trying to think of a clever name for these treats….Pardon Me Sirs??? Anyway— they taste good any time of the month :)

1 Devil’s Food Cake Box mix
2 eggs
1/2 c. oil
1 c. chocolate chips

mix.
roll into balls.
place on cookie sheet.

I’ve made these except with toffee bits rather than choc. chips. My “pardon me sirs” are nobake cookies. :) Ever have them?

Thought about making these today, but I’m going to exercise self control. Actually, when I make them, I make 1/4 of a recipe b/c I am so tempted to eat all of them when I do make them. They’re not for everyone, but they just hit the spot on some days for me:

    1 stick butter
    2 cups sugar
    1/2 c. milk

Mix this together in saucepan until it boils. Boil for 1 minute. Turn off heat but keep on stove top and quickly stir in the following:

    3 c. quick oats
    1/2 c. peanut butter
cocoa (I usually eyeball it, but it’s probably about 1/2 c.)
    1 tsp. vanilla

Drop on greased cookie sheet(or waxed paper) and let cool. They should harden up as they cool down. If they remain soft, you haven’t let it boil long enough.
    Enjoy.
