Hospitality: Simple Menus

May 6, 2008 · 2 Comments

We’ve been so excited to start having people over again now that we’ve adjusted a little more to having 3 cuties. I’m looking for simple menus that I can prepare most of ahead of time, and that are kid-friendly. Last Saturday my extended family came over and we had crockpot bbq, cole slaw, corn muffins and cheesecake pie (no bake). This weekend we are having a family from church over and I’m thinking about grilled chicken (marinated in Italian dressing), bowtie pasta salad, corn on the cob and ice cream. Do you have any simple menu ideas???

I posted a simple salmon & zucchini recipe a few days ago. It’s not a make ahead meal, but extremely simple and you can probably grill it too. You only need to add another side and you’ve got a whole meal.
